The Rastardology Card May 30th, 2014
NBA
IND @ MIA: Miami, after a loss. Lebron, after an all time low in points and minutes (approximately). The Pacers probably a little high on themselves after a “huge” win. Larry Bird taking some of the air out from under Stephenson. None of this bodes well for the Pacers, and there is little reason to believe that the Heat are going to let anything get in the way of them today. The NBA wants the Heat in the finals, and there won’t be much funny business. The line started at 6, is as high as 8 in places, and it might still go up. In the end, the Heat win by a landslide, and the Pacers will have to look to Larry Bird to fix their chemistry. Does 2 wins against the Heat save Vogel’s job? Lean MIA-7
NHL
CHI @ LAK: The Blackhawks, back against the wall at home took on the mighty Kings, to the tune of a 3-1 start, 3-2 at the intermission. And then the Kings took over, leading 4-3 going into the 3rd. Sneaking out a 5-4 OT win at home, does not mean the Blackhawks are back in the series. The Kings, behind Quick (at home and off a tough outing) take care of business today. And it might get ugly because they have business to attend to against the Rangers. Lean LAK ML
